I had watched Gia Coppola's Palo Alto which was based on the Palo Alto Stories by James Franco. I really liked the way she had directed the film as it visually connected to the book really well. This short film is what had reminded me of Palo Alto and Gia's style of capturing small detail mixing special young moments together.
